The Design Team


Rod Aluise
Electrical Engineering

Project Responsibilities: Rod is working alongside Peter to construct the electrical portions of the design. This includes, but is not limited to, the circuit board, switches, and the motors.  They will ensure that the switches control the motors which in turn spin the propellers and open the syringe.







 
Peter Jewell

Samantha Schneider

Project Responsibilities: As webmaster, Samantha works with each member of the group to maintain communication. She is responsible for the upkeep of the website, taking photos and/or videos, and overseeing the project as a whole.










Christopher Vito

Project Responsibilities: Chris is working alongside Andy to  design and construct a system to open and close the syringe(s)This will require connecting the motor to the water sampling device. Chris is also in charge of overseeing that each of the systems- water testing, depth sensor, and propulsion- work in accordance.











Andrew Wells

Project Responsibilities: Andy is working alongside Chris to design and construct a system to open and close the syringe(s). This will require connecting the motor to the water sampling device. Andy is also responsible for implementing the water sampler and depth sensor onto the SeaPerch.











Benjamin Yezuita

Project Responsibilities: Ben is in charge of materials. He will visit hardware stores, the machine shop, etc to ensure that all the necessary parts are obtained and/or created. In addition, he will help Sam with the upkeep of the blog and edit the information posted.
